The Thin Chromatic Line

But it’s a fine line between avant-garde editorial and edgy wearability. To make the adventurous looks suitable, stylists transformed pinks and purples to pastels. Fast, fashionable and affordable color techniques employed include color blocking, balayage and shine bands, created by placing color along the curve of the head or under a veil of hair.
Pastel lavenders and pinks are all about placement; balayage makes the shades office-suitable.
